Every individual has the desire to develop him/herself personally and professionally. Through training and coaching, everyone can improve existing skills and learn new skills in any area of interest. Next to this, every individual can acquire a better insight in him/herself and a better understanding in human interactions in general. An important part of the onboarding program is the training of new staff members. The training should not only provide the newcomer with learning the work processes of the role and the business operations of the company, but also provide a documentation of information about the company, templates, the IT systems, the tasks and responsibilities of the role and how to perform these, policies and procedures.
Developing training material requires not only a veteran in the company with the required in-depth knowledge of the training topic, but also a trainer’s eye and skills to design the training material in such manner that the newcomer will get the most out of the training material so she/he can become productive as soon as possible.
Training material can come in different forms dependent on the training topic, the receiver(s) (individual versus group training) and the time allocated for the training. A training course can be given individually or in a class room with others and the topics can range from internal work processes, IT systems, policies and procedures to role-specific topics etc. The training material itself can be in written form (manuals), e-learning, videos or in the form of presentations using, for example Powerpoint.
We offer the services of designing and developing training material for your new employees or as documentation of information about your organisation in general.

Working in a culturally diverse environment offers ample of challenges. Culture is often either overestimated or underestimated within the workforce. Finding the balance is not easy for intercultural teams and their managers. People tend to stick and be trapped in stereotypes when culture differences are overemphasized. This leads to failure in acknowledging and utilizing the full potential of culturally diverse employees. Closing your eyes and convincing yourself that everyone is the same and everyone therefore can work in the same way is an idealistic mistake. This leads to heavily underestimating the factor culture and its contribution to an individual’s personality.
Both cultural differences AND similarities need to be recognized, acknowledged, accepted and correctly interpretated in order to create the most productive, motivating and pleasant atmosphere in intercultural work environments.

Listening is a complex skill many have not been taught. We have learned how to read and write from a young age at school, and continue improving these skills throughout our higher education and work. Since listening is such a natural cognitive function, there is not much conscious efforts being done in improving our listening skills. Research has shown that we are far from being good listeners. “Most of us listen at or below a 25 percent efficiency rate, remember only about half of what’s said during a 10-minute conversation, and forget half of that within 48 hours.” (from the book “Excellence in Business Communication” by Thill and Bovee, 2004).
While managing a team, or working together with your colleagues on a project, one of the most underestimated skills are the listening skills. We are able to instantly point out who has poor listening skills, but the idea of offering training to improve these skills do not come to mind naturally. It is also uncommon to acknowledge your listening skills need improvement and be willing to undertake action to achieve this.
Not only in the professional environment are listening skills key to establish, nurture and maintain warm relationships. Every individual listens every day to get information, communicate, learn, socialize, laugh, support, understand. Listening is an essential part of human interaction itself and improving this can only have positive outcomes.

For the majority of people, email is something we take for granted and we use it as easily as using water from our kitchen tap. However, contrary to what most people think about emailing, writing an email is not so self-evident. Especially not when used as the tool for business communication. The implication, consequences and results caused by badly formulated and unclear emails are of a much larger extent one might think.
The email overload has entered our lives in which we feel we just want to delete our whole inbox because of the overwhelming amount of email waiting for us to be read and answered. Email overload has become an important topic in time management courses and training, and is one of the major causes why people have difficulties with managing their time and setting priorities.
Everyone can use simple but effective techniques to improve email communication and make it a much better tool for our interactions with our customers, our suppliers and our colleagues around us.

Sometimes the things in your life just do not feel quite right. Even if everything personally and professionally seems to fit perfectly like a complex puzzle, the lack of fulfillment and meaning can still be strongly present. The feeling that there is something missing, the feeling of not living to your full potential, or to not be the authentic you can make you feel left out from everything. Personal coaching can help in finding your way within yourself. Living abroad in a country with a completely different culture and language can add tremendously to this feeling, or maybe even be the main cause if you have trouble finding your place in the new city you live in.
We offer personal coaching to assist and guide you in becoming the person you are.
